What Are Missions?
Probably the primary occupation of a warrior is doing missions for their country, or the highest bidder. Requests come into the warrior citys all the time, and are then sorted by difficulty. E-rank missions are usually chores or some paltry tasks that involve zero risk and usually stay within the boundaries of the city or close to it. D-rank missions are relatively simple tasks which are usually given out to inexperienced warriors who have had a bit of time to acquire experience and skills. C-rank missions are the most common ones, which are usually given out to B Rank+ level warriors. B-rank missions are difficult and risky, and should only be completed by A rank+ warriors, but they also pay well. A-rank missions are the second highest-ranking missions, they are extremely difficult and important and would usually require a group of experienced A rank warriors to be completed. Then there are super highly challenging missions that will challenge even the greatest of warriors and should only be attempted by S rank+ warriors in groups of no less than 2.
Accepting Missions
The lists on Time merge may be attempted by a Warriors of any rank and many of them are available to missing-warriors as well. E, D and C rank missions are considered "generic". They can be done in anywhere, any number of times. They can also be done by missing-warriors, but in this case, you'll need to pay attention to the description to judge if it makes sense. B+ missions can only be completed once. When you take a mission, you must post in the respective topic noting when you have started the mission and when you have finished it so a moderator can lock it. If doing a D or C rank missions, you only need to say when you had completed it. When you make a "mission complete" post, provide a link (or multiple links) to the topic(s) where you did the mission.
E-C ranks may do E, D and C rank missions at any time. They may also do B rank missions with a squad (3 E-C ranks) or a B rank+.
B-A ranks may do E to A rank missions.
S rank+ may partake in S rank missions.
note there may be the occasional SS mission that will be posted outside of the mission categories. these are even missions that will shape the form course and history of the site. These missions are open to all but be warned characters may die but the rewards are staggering.
Mission Details:
Only moderators can post missions. If you have a mission idea, send it to a moderator so they can post it (they must credit the creator of the mission). Here's the code to be used when posting new missions:
Requester: is the person who requested this mission. This can be a completely random NPC or anything that fits. It can also be an RPC.
Description: is pretty self-explanatory. This should contain the basic set up for the mission, the objective, some details and probably some extra notes.
Warriors Needed: The amount of ninja required to take this mission. Some requirements to their warrior rank or missing-warrior class may also be stated here.
Requirements: should contain whatever requirements are necessary to complete the mission, like a general number of posts, or a certain amount of posts in certain areas etc., any OOC condition.
Training Points: is how many training points you earn from the mission.
Fame: is how much renown the mission will give you. Higher-ranked missions that have a higher impact on society will get you more fame.
Finally, to complete a mission, all missions must be completed over a minimum number of posts or by achieving a certain number of points (as you would if you were learning kinjutsu or rank-training). Each person participating is required to make the minimal amount of posts.
Further more you can elect to split the mission post count among all of the participants of the mission making it so your post counts as post 1 and your friends counts as post count 2, however the fame will be split, (But not the TP) among all whom take hold in the mission.
You may not Forbid-tech train during a mission/train and anything that requires grading however you may learn techniques during the mission.
